Young Writers’ Competition 2021

Are you a budding writer who enjoys writing stories or poems? Enter for your chance to win an iPad for yourselves and your school! Returning for the third year, WIZO, together with PJ Library and the Jewish News bring their competition to primary (age 7-11) and secondary (age 11-18) school children.

Information can be found in the Jewish News print & online, as well as the WIZO & PJ Library websites. 

Closing date is Friday 4 June 2021 – giving entrants plenty of time.

This year’s theme is ‘Courage’ and may be about your own courage or somebody else’s.

Questions to consider in your story

∞ What does courage mean to you?

∞ Do you know someone who is courageous?

 ∞ When have you witnessed acts of courage/bravery?

∞ Why do we need courage?

  What forms of courage are there?

Entrants will be asked to write no more than 300 words.
