You may be aware that we have hosted some successful Zoom events during the last month or so.
The Ultimate Quarantine Quiz, in particular, attracted 80 teams and raised over £1,400.

If you think that a Zoom event may be of interest to your WIZO group, and we understand that these types of events may not be realistic for all, we at Head Office are happy to help. This help can take the form of assisting with the technical side, preparing flyers and also promoting the event across the country, as Zoom events can potentially attract a much wider audience. Please let us know your thoughts, as even during a pandemic, we need to still support our WIZO projects.

And a word from our Manchester office:
“We’ve been learning how to embrace this new way of working while retaining a sense of the community that has been the fabric of WIZO for over one hundred years. Many of our members are adapting, keen to connect with our online events. We’ve held a couple of informal coffee mornings on Zoom for members to chat, catch up and socialise. A virtual event with guest speaker and fabulous wellness coach Suzy Glaskie, raised funds for WIZO’s emergency appeal for victims of domestic abuse. Obviously we miss out on the usual refreshments that are the hallmark of our gatherings but the fact that we can continue to stay in touch while raising funds to support our projects in Israel hopefully means we are keeping alive the essence of what WIZO is all about.”

We do hope you and your members are keeping well. The WIZO Head Office team is all still working from home, but we are all more than happy to support you to help support WIZO.
