HELP HER SHAPE ISRAEL’S FUTURE
This Rosh Hashanah, your gift can help an experienced WIZO day-care professional gain the education and recognition she deserves—while helping give generations of children the strongest possible start in life.
Every day, dedicated women nurture and educate thousands of young children in WIZO day-care centres across Israel.
Their work requires skill, knowledge, emotional intelligence and enormous responsibility. Yet many have never had the opportunity to gain a formal qualification or receive the professional recognition they deserve.
WIZO’s pioneering education programme is helping to change that.
A LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITY
In partnership with Levinsky-Wingate Academic College, WIZO is enabling experienced early-years professionals to study for a Bachelor of Education and teaching certificate while continuing to work.
The programme’s second cohort will support 25 women from communities across Israel. Many are mothers, first-generation university students or women for whom higher education may once have felt beyond reach.
With the right support, they can gain a qualification, grow in confidence and use their learning immediately to improve the care and education children receive.
FOR HER
Education, professional recognition and the opportunity to build a more secure future.
FOR THEM
Better-informed care, stronger teaching and the best possible start for Israel’s youngest children.
FOR ISRAEL
Empowered women, stronger families and more resilient communities.
HELP FUND HER JOURNEY
• £85 could help fund approximately one week of her programme.
• £370 could help fund approximately one month.
• £4,400 could support approximately one full year.
• £13,500 could fund a complete three-year scholarship.
Every gift, whatever its size, can help a dedicated educator take the next step towards her future—and carry that knowledge into the lives of hundreds of children.
