Your gift can help an experienced WIZO day-care professional gain a degree and teaching qualification giving young children stronger foundations for learning, greater confidence and more opportunities for the future.
Every day, dedicated women nurture and educate thousands of young children in WIZO day-care centres across Israel.
Their work requires skill, knowledge, emotional intelligence and enormous responsibility. Yet many have never had the opportunity to gain a formal qualification or receive the professional recognition they deserve.
By investing in their education, we can strengthen the care children receive today and the foundations they carry throughout their lives.
A LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITY
In partnership with Levinsky-Wingate Academic College, WIZO is enabling experienced early-years professionals to study for a Bachelor of Education and teaching certificate while continuing to work.
Each cohort supports 25 women from communities across Israel. Many are mothers, first-generation university students or women for whom higher education may once have felt beyond reach.
With your support, they can gain a qualification, grow in confidence and put their learning into practice every day.
SMALL CHILDREN. LASTING POSSIBILITIES.
The earliest years lay foundations for how children learn, communicate, build relationships and respond to challenges.
Further education helps day-care professionals understand children’s development, recognise individual needs and create nurturing environments where children can flourish.
For a child, this can mean finding the confidence to speak, learning to play and cooperate with others, or receiving support when something is difficult. These early experiences help prepare children for school and support their ability to keep learning and developing as they grow.
As each educator shares her knowledge with successive groups of children, the benefits extend beyond one classroom or one year—to families, communities and Israel’s future.
