OXFORD WIZO – Five Great Jewish Musicians with guest speaker John Dunston
John Dunston was Director of Music at Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford. Throughout his career as a teacher and head, he has championed the central role of music in education. He led the first UK school choir tour to China, and the Fellowship deepened his choral conducting in both secular and sacred contexts. He later gave illustrated lectures, collaborated with related organisations, and convened gatherings of Fellows with shared interests. The experiences profoundly shaped his own musical work and significantly influenced the choirs he worked with in the UK.

All proceeds raised will go towards WIZO UK’s emergency rehabilitation fund. Set up following October 7th, this offers a wide range of therapies, supporting a traumatised nation suffering and dealing with the psychological fallout of these horrific events. The impact of these brutal attacks cannot be underestimated and WIZO as a first responder must continue to be there for the needs of Israeli citizens.
