OXFORD WIZO – Summer Lunch with Guest Speaker Professor Susan Doran

Susan Doran is a Professor of Early Modern British History at the University of Oxford and Senior Research Fellow at Jesus College Oxford. She has written extensively on the Tudors and edited the catalogues of four major exhibitions held in London. Her most recent book is called ‘From Tudor to Stuart: The Regime Change from Elizabeth I to James I (OUP 2025)’, and the title of her talk is ‘After Elizabeth I: Queen Anna of Denmark, wife of James I’.
