NEW YEAR NEW HOPE

A new year means renewed commitment.

For many families in Israel, the past few years have been defined by upheaval loss and uncertainty. The impact of October 7 did not end with the news cycle. It continues in the daily lives of women and children navigating trauma displacement and instability.

Yet even in the most difficult moments hope is built through action.

As Israel’s largest social welfare organisation, WIZO begins this new year with a renewed commitment to protect the most vulnerable, to restore stability where it has been shattered and to help families move forward with dignity and support.

Through WIZO’s Emergency Appeal, we are:

  • Keeping children safe in day-care centres that provide routine, care and security
  • Delivering trauma and mental-health support to women, children and young people
  • Sustaining youth villages and schools for teens who need structure and protection
  • Strengthening women’s shelters and safety-net services under increased pressure
  • Supporting community centres that serve as lifelines in times of crisis

Hope is not abstract. It is built through safe spaces, trusted support and people showing up consistently.

As this new year begins, your support ensures that women and children across Israel are not left to face uncertainty alone. Together, we can turn survival into stability, and recovery into resilience.

Please support WIZO UK to bring stability and hope to those in our care, facing emotional trauma and hardship at this time of war in Israel. This year, help build hope where it is needed most.]
