Impacting women’s educational future – together

In a moment of profound significance for women and the future of early childhood education in Israel, WIZO has proudly launched a groundbreaking programme in collaboration with the esteemed Levinsky-Wingate Academic College. This initiative offers women from low-income backgrounds a valuable opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Education degree and specialised certifications, transforming lives and futures.

Imagine the passion and dedication filling WIZO daycare centres as these remarkable women combine academic study with invaluable hands-on experience. This is more than an educational programme—it’s a beacon of hope and empowerment, reaching deep into our communities.

The first cohort of 26 caregivers and managers from WIZO daycare centres began their academic journey in November, pursuing a bachelor’s degree and a teaching certificate in early childhood education.

WIZO, with the help of donors from WIZO federations around the world, is covering the majority of the costs.
